The dates for GITAM (Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), Visakhapatnam) Medical Entrance Test have been announced. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 11, 2015.

This exam is being conducted for taking admission to 4.5 years and 1 year internship Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program approved by the MCI, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, UGC & MHRD-Government of India for the academic year 2015-16.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to M.B.B.S. program approved by the MCI, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, UGC & MHRD-Govt. of India for the academic year 2015-16

Paper Pattern

It is a computer based online test.

The exam will have one paper consisting of 160 objective type (multiple choice) questions from Biology (Botany and Zoology), Chemistry and Physics. For every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. No credit will be given for the questions left unanswered.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to appear for this test should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology), Chemistry & Physics in the qualifying examination from a recognised central or state board or its equivalent.

How to Apply

Application is available online at www.gitam.edu. and fill the same including DD particulars (Demand Draft for Rs. 1,000/- for boys and Rs. 600/- for girls to be drawn on any scheduled bank in favour of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam).
Take a print out of filled-in application and send it along with DD to reach the Director - Admissions, GITAM University, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam-530045, Andhra Pradesh on or before 7th September, 2015.

Admissions will be made on merit, based on the rank obtained in the GITAM MEDICAL ENTRANCE TEST (GMET- 2015)
